The teenage years can be a tumultuous time. But thanks to the Teen Program at Neighborhood House, many teens develop into responsible adults in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment. We were fortunate to serve more than 300 teens in 2008. Our Teen Program serves youth ages 13-19 who attend area schools or live in the neighborhood. These teens can experience a wide range of activities that help them to develop physically, intellectually, and socially. The Teen Programs also promote academic proficiency through homework study tables, career exploration and interactive computer lab sessions.  When school is not in session, summer activities include community service projects such as neighborhood and river clean-ups. Environmental education is also a major part of the Teen Summer Program, as it exposes participants to environmental conservation concepts that help them understand and appreciate the impact humans have on our natural resources.   Please contact Teen Program Coordinator James Austin at (414) 933-6161 ext. 137 or
